1. What We Collect

When you use QuickResume.xyz, we collect:

• Account information: name, email address, and (if you sign in via OTP) phone number
• Resume content: everything you enter into the resume builder, including personal details, work history, education, and any files you import
• Payment metadata: transaction records (amount, credits, gateway, status) — we never see or store your full card, UPI, or bank details; those are handled entirely by Cashfree and PayPal
• Usage data: which features you use, wallet/credit activity, and basic technical data (IP address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the Service — building, saving, and rendering your resumes
• To process AI features (your resume content and pasted job descriptions are sent to our AI provider to generate suggestions — see Section 4)
• To process payments and manage your wallet credits
• To communicate with you about your account, security, or changes to our policies
• To improve the Service based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns

3. Your Resume Data Stays Yours

Your resumes are tied to your account only. We do not sell your personal information or resume content, and we do not share it with other users or third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate:

• AI provider — resume content and job descriptions you submit for AI features are sent to our AI provider to generate responses. They process this data to return results to you and do not use it to train models on our behalf without authorization.
• Cashfree & PayPal — handle payment processing. We receive confirmation of successful payments but never your full payment details.
• Hosting infrastructure — your account and resume data are stored on our hosting provider's servers.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and resume data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and resume content within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain transaction records for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Export your resume data

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or from the Service.
